Nathan Alleney – Thailand

I was connected to Carlos after having numerous meetings with other TEFL companies and consultants that didn’t go well. From the get-go, Carlos was warm, informative and helpful and was extremely proactive in helping me consider my international teaching options. The support Carlos gave was second to none and he was a great guide in what had previously been a very confusing and stressful process (especially due to the covid pandemic that we were facing). He matched me with a great company, mediated when there were any issues, and kept track of my progress at each important step, both before I left and after I arrived. I have now been teaching for a month in Thailand, and whilst the teaching has been conducted online I have really enjoyed the lessons and helping the children with their English.

For anyone considering Thailand, I’d definitely say go for it! The country is beautiful, the people are so helpful and friendly and there are so many things for people of all tastes to do. So far I have been to islands, temples, started Muay Thai and been to a number of clubs, bars and restaurants. It has been great and I’m really looking forward to what the rest of my journey has to offer!
