  • Teaching English to kids in China aged 3-18 in groups up to 16 students

  • Your students are an enthusiastic fun loving bunch, full of energy and ready to learn. As a teacher, you need to come to class prepared and ready to have fun. It’s your responsibility

  • Planning and delivering engaging classes, full of games and learning activities

  • Using electronic media and developed courseware to teach English efficiently and effectively

  • Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement to both students and their parents

  • Assigning and evaluating out of class exercises

  • Participating in social activities with students organized by your school to encourage oral English proficiency

  • 15 – 18hrs teaching; 25 – 22hrs office hours; 5-days a week. 40hr work week; 2 consecutive days off and with classes typically taught in afternoons, evenings and weekends

  • Typical class length is 40 to 60 minutes



  • 13,000 to 15,000 RMB is the nationwide salary. Higher salary paid for the following locations: EF Hangzhou (17,500 – 22,000 RMB) and Xi’an (12,000 – 16,500 RMB.

  • Bachelor’s degree
