  • Class size: No more than 16 students.
  • Work hours and schedules: You’ll be working 40 hours a week (20 -24 teaching hours, the rest is office hours) with 2 days off per week. The work schedule will vary between schools and teachers but generally you’ll be working afternoons, evenings and weekends.
  • Locations:Positions are available in over 77 schools available nationwide, including Jakarta, Surabaya, Java and all other major Islands. No positions available in Bali or Lombok at the moment.
  • Start dates:Year round.
  • Contract length: 12 month contracts available.
  • Planning and delivering engaging English classes, full of games and learning activities to children in Indonesia.
  • Using electronic media and developed courseware to teach English efficiently and effectively.
  • Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement to both students and their parents.
  • Assigning and evaluating out of class exercises.
  • Participating in social activities with students organized by your school to encourage oral English proficiency.
  • Your students are an enthusiastic fun-loving bunch, full of energy and ready to learn. As a teacher, you need to come to class prepared and ready to have fun.

Due to work visa requirements, applicants must:

  • Be native English speakers from the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
  • Hold a fully completed bachelor’s degree (or higher)
  • Hold a 120-hour TEFL Certificate (we can assist you with this if you’re not TEFL certified)
  • Hold a clean national criminal background check
  • Applicants must be between 22 and 55 years of age
