Teach in Taiwan

Known as a “hidden gem”, Taiwan is a tropical Island nation, with modern cities, good infrastructure, low cost of living, beautiful mountains and beautiful beaches, and friendly locals who always greet you with a smile. With a unique blend of cultures, beautiful scenery, diverse cuisines, exciting city life, and a well-developed hospitality industry, Taiwan has something for everyone, making it one of the best places to start your teaching adventure!

HESS International Educational Group is the oldest and most recognised English school in Taiwan. They believe learning is a lifelong process. That is why they have been evolving since their humble beginnings in Taiwan in 1983. Although they have grown to become an international education group, they are still growing and learning. As a result, they are continually looking for TEFL teachers who share their passion for learning. They strive to help empower their teachers to make a difference in children’s lives.

HESS produces a variety of educational materials for Taiwanese public schools and private educational institutions in addition to their own in-house curricula. To date, HESS has published more than 1,000 titles, and as a result, students use more than 800,000 copies of their award-winning teaching and learning materials every year. Being both an education and publishing company ensures that their teachers use the best methods to teach the most effective materials.

HESS teachers come from all walks of life. Whether you are seeking adventure or looking to further your career in education, HESS has the established environment for you. With various locations in Taiwan, there is a place for you to hone your teaching and interpersonal skills and find personal and professional growth.
