Founded in 1996, Language Link Vietnam, a member of the International Language Link Group, was one of the first international organizations to provide courses with English foreign teachers in Vietnam. Language Link Vietnam is comprised of 4 business segments, including Language Link Academic (Language Centres), Schools Link (Public Schools), Corporate Link (Corporations – Business English), and Language Link Overseas Study.

Up to 600,000 VND per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

  • AGE GROUPS: 4 to adults. Their Schools Link program focuses on Primary (6 to 10 years old) and Secondary education (10-15 years old) whereas their Language Link Academic program teaches all ages and abilities. They also teach corporate clients and IELTS preparation courses.

  • CLASS SIZE: classes can vary from single students (corporate) all the way to a maximum of 25 students (public schools and language centers).

  • LOCATIONS: positions are mainly available in Hanoi, but openings in other locations such as Ho Chi Minh city, Da Nang, Ha Giang, Thanh Hoa, Hai Duong, Vinh Phuc etc. might become available throughout the year.

  • START DATES: mid August, but some positions can become available year-round.

  • CONTRACT LENGHT: The public-school program run for 9 months during the academic year. For teachers working at the language centers, the contract is 12 months.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Native English speaker from the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand and in possession of a valid passport (that has at least 12 months’ validity remaining).

  • Hold a fully completed Bachelor’s degree (or higher)

  • Hold a 120 hour TEFL Certificate

  • Hold a clean national criminal background check.

SCHEDULES

a typical schedule varies depending on which area of Language Link you work at. For the public schools’ program, the hours are Monday to Friday daytime and average between 70-100 hours a month for a full-time teacher. For teachers working at the Language Centres the schedule will be mainly evenings and weekends. Hours vary according to the type of contract signed, either Full-time (17 to 22 hours per week) or part-time (6 to 12 hours per week).
