Laura Mowry – Taiwan

During the pandemic I wanted a career change and have always wanted to teach so with some research I found LearnTEFL and decided to take the online 150 hour course. The course was great ,understandable for someone who has not taught before, and nice to be able to complete at my own pace and time. After completing the course I reached out to find a job overseas and was connected with Carlos Salamanca, who has been the absolute most patient and helpful recruitment consultant out there. Carlos did not hesitate to reach out to me about possible job locations and got back to me quickly. I had an issue with an employment offer and he did not hesitate to contact the company and get things straightened out. I do not think I would have been able to come to Taiwan or have the job without the help of Carlos. I am currently located in Taipei and I work in a kindergarten. Everyone here in Taiwan as well as in my school have been so nice and helpful. I would absolutely recommend Taiwan for anyone who is thinking about coming to East Asia, it is a great place with great food, people, and beautiful sights.
