Job Summary
The successful candidate will be required to teach young learners from the age of 5 and adults too. Experience teaching children is fundamental. Teachers are expected to prepare lessons and mark students’ homework. Teachers can avail themselves of modern multimedia and ICT facilities (WIFI, white interactive board, computers) to prepare their lessons. Support from senior teachers and management will be provided;

London Bridge, a Languagecert Authorized Centre and Cambridge Preparation Centre, is a small family-run private school of English based in Altamura (70000 inhabitants) in the south of Italy. The town, known as the city of bread is welcoming with a strong community feel and is the ideal place to experience Italian culture.
To May 2022, we are looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic teacher of English to join our growing and supportive department. We have a collaborative approach and it is expected that the successful candidate will make an active contribution to the school. For instance, by assisting with extra-curricular clubs and study trips, in addition to teaching dynamic and engaging lessons. Also teachers are involved in the invigilation of LanguageCert exams. Qualifications
Essential:
Previous recent teaching experience in Europe or ability to work in the EU
Bachelor’s degree
CELTA/ TEFL qualification
Minimum 1 years’ teaching experience in a school environment abroad
Native English Speaker or C2 level
Ability to teach face to face and online
Desirable:
Experience preparing Cambridge English exams
Further teaching qualification e.g. DELTA, PGCE
Experience and/or interest in teaching young learners
knowledge of Italian
Salary and Benefits
Teachers are usually hired on a fixed-term contract for the academic year (September 2020 to the end of May 2021) which will be renewed for the following academic year.
Competitive salary with nine-month employment contract including full social security contributions paid by our school. The average working week is 25 contact hours. Additional teaching hours paid as overtime.

2 target-based bonuses paid after Christmas and end of school year.
Full monthly salary paid also when weekly contact hours do not reach 25 hours
The actual salary will be based on experience and qualifications but ranges from 1100 to 1200 net per month.
