Thailand is also immensely popular with young people, more and more of whom are taking advantage of TEFL qualifications as a means to live and work in this extraordinary country by teaching English.

As an English Conversation Teacher with SINE Education, you will provide in-class English conversation lessons to students aged 12-18 in one of our partner schools in central Bangkok, Outer Bangkok, Central Thailand or north east Thailand. You will be using SINE Education’s multimedia equipment and lesson plans to conduct your lessons, and since all lessons are provided to you, you can spend your time and energy creating a fun and exciting learning environment for your students!

MEP Program: For teachers with qualifications in Maths or Science, Sine Education has also launched a new MEP Program that follows the Thai Curriculum for Maths and Science and mostly uses resources from Cambridge. For this program, Sine will provide teachers with:

  • A detailed plan of work, including lesson plans, PowerPoints, and all the material necessary for the lessons.
  • Starting salary of 40,000 THB per month
  • 40,000 THB contract completion bonus

*Positions are limited for the MEP program*

  • Age groups: 12 to 18 years old.
  • Class size: No more than 45 students. For the MEP Program, no more than 30 students.
  • Work hours and schedules:Monday to Friday between 7:30am to 4:30pm. On average, you’ll be teaching around 24 hours per week, the rest will be office hours. For the MEP program, teachers are expected to teach no more than 18 hours per week.
  • Locations:Positions are mainly available in central Bangkok, outer Bangkok (Rangsit, Pattuthani, Nakhon Pathom, etc.), central Thailand (Suphan Buri, Samut Songkram, Prachuap, Saraburi, etc.), and north-east of Thailand (Issan: Khon Kaen, Korat, Buriram, Buengkhan, etc.).
  • Start dates:May (training in late April) and November (training in later October), but some positions may become available throughout the year.
  • Contract length: 5 and 10-month contracts available.

Due to work visa requirements, applicants must:

  • Be native English speakers from the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • A 120 hour TEFL certificate will be a plus. We can offer you a great deal for our 120 or 150 hour TEFL course.
  • Hold a clean national criminal background check.
  • A passion for teaching and a desire to inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable, open-minded, and culturally sensitive.
