CofradÃa's Bilingual School is located in CofradÃa, Honduras, a small town outside of San Pedro Sula. Since its inception in 1997, CofradÃa’s Bilingual School has provided a much-needed alternative to the local public school system. The students who attend CBS receive an immersion-based bilingual education from an international team of volunteer teachers. Our volunteers work with Honduran staff to provide a well-rounded, high-quality education to our students. The class size at CBS is much smaller than that of a public school, so students can get the individualized attention and help that they need. Students leave CBS with a good command of the English language, which translates directly into higher-paying jobs and increased opportunities for higher education.​ By helping our students learn English and opening doors to better futures, our goal is to help our students break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their families. We truly believe in the power of education to change our students' lives because we have seen it in action!​There are so many ways to get involved, from volunteering to donating or providing a scholarship to a student in need.
