YoYo Camps (Germany) offers English, French, and Spanish holiday camps for German children aged 6 to 15. Languages are not taught in the classroom, but instead through an informal setting of fun activities. Our campsites are located in Germany, in and around Berlin and Lower Saxony. Summer camps will be held in July and August each year. Salary is based on Germany's minimum wage.
As a summer camp counsellor at YoYo Camps, you plan and lead fun, engaging language-learning activities for children and teenagers aged 6 to 15, while caring for them and meeting their individual needs. Together with your colleagues, you will design your own summer camp programme and accompany the kids to special activities such as climbing and canoeing. For overnight camps, you will be responsible for the kids for the whole week, waking them up in the morning and putting them to bed at night. Your duties might also include communicating with campsite staff, reporting injuries and conflicts to the supervisor, communicating with parents and keeping the campsite clean. If you enjoy working with kids and teens in an adventurous setting close to nature with an international team, YoYo Camps is the place for you!
