Teach in Indonesia – No Experience Needed! Full Support & Training Provided (Not applicable to Indonesian or local teachers)

No teaching experience? No Bahasa? No problem.

All you need is:

  • A bachelor’s degree (in any field)
  • A valid passport
  • ESL/TEFL certification (sponsorship available through English 1)
  • A one-year commitment abroad

What you’ll do:

  • Teach English to children and teens (ages 3–18)
  • Use English 1’s award-winning multimedia curriculum
  • Participate in engaging, creative learning experiences

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in any subject.
  • Valid passport with a minimum 24 months validity.
  • Accredited English Language Certification or any of the following qualifications: Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)/Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)/Certificate in English Teaching to Adults (CELTA)/Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DELTA) - is an advantage.
  • Must be able to obtain a clear background check.
  • The ability to live abroad for at least one year.
  • Additionally, candidates who want to teach kids English in Indonesia must be citizens from one of the following nations to be issued a visa from the local government: the USA, the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
